Six Things to do with Kids in Paris during the Summer


  1. The Eiffel Tower:

Enjoy the playgrounds and parks, like at the Butte Chaumont and the Luxembourg Garden. The Luxembourg Garden is a fantastic place to wander around. You have to pay a small fee to get into the playground, but it is hours of entertainment for young children. There is a fountain pond for sailing small wooden boats you can rent for a small fee. Don’t miss the puppet theater, Guignol, open since 1933.

  1. Take the kids to Disneyland Paris:

Your kids are nice, and are following you on your Parisian adventures: going to museums, eating at nice restaurants, visiting monuments, and behaving way better than they do at home. They will be happy to take a break from the city and adult world to plunge into the magic of Disney. Really accessible public transportation takes you there in 30 minutes from the center of Paris.

  1. The Aquaboulevard:

Aquaboulevard  offers an exciting day out for the whole family. It is the biggest urban water park in Europe, boasting two wave pools, 11 giant water slides, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, lazy rivers and a 4,000 m² stretch of sandy beach dotted with more than 30 straw huts imported from Mauritius, plus a whole slew of water games.

  1. The Cité des Sciences et de l’industrie:

The Cité des Sciences is the biggest science museum in Europe. It is especially popular with families for its Cité des enfants (the City of children), a unique space for actively experimenting and exploring through educational activities divided into thematic areas. Your kids will love this place.

  1. National Museum of Natural History:

The interior of the building itself is impressive with lighting and sound effects. The staff is engaging, even with young children. You can’t miss the gallery of evolution, a beautiful combination of science, art, education, and ethics.
