For fans of the street artist, a comprehensive Banksy exhibit reopened at Espace Lafayette-Drouot in Paris with 12,000 sq/ft of original art lent by private collections as well as reproductions of street murals recreated by a street art collective. You’ll find some of Banksy’s most famous pieces and recurring themes: “Gangsta Rat”, “Kissing Coppers”, “Toxic Mary”, “Turf War” and some of Banksy’s most famous public installations such as his “Walled Off Hotel” and “Banksy in Bethlehem”. Titled “The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience”, the exhibition takes place in an appropriately dimly lit, low-ceiling environment reminiscent of urban dark alleys at night on a faint background of police sirens and hovering helicopters.
